The Balboa VS510SZ Kit includes the control system with heater, topside control panel, Amp 4-prong style equipment cords, light wire, light bulb, light harness and a topside adapter plate. Same as 50-54218-Z.

The amp cords plug directly into the circuit board.

These control systems can be wired to 220 Volts or 110 Volts. If wired to 220 Volts, each of the component circuits can be either 220V or 110V.

The 510SZ kits operate:

• Main Pump Circuit (2-Speed) - 110V or 220V
• Pump 2 (1-Speed) - 110V or 220V
• Blower Circuit - 110V or 220V
• Ozonator Circuit - 110V or 220V (Must match voltage of circulation pump circuit below. So if you do not have a small circulation pump, you have the option to set this circuit to either voltage. If you have a small circulation pump, you must use an ozonator with the same voltage as your circulation pump.)
• Light Circuit - 12 Volts
• **Circulation Pump Circuit - 110V or 220V

**Most spas don't have a small circulation pump, instead, the main pump runs on low speed to heat and filter the water during set filtration cycles. If you are using a small circulation pump, the flow rate must be at least 25 gallons per minute. In other words, the circulation pump must be similar to a Waterway Iron Might or Aquaflo Circmaster Pump and require a minimum 1.5" size plumbing. Pumps like the Waterway Tiny Might or Laing E10 Circulation Pump are too small and will not work with this control system.

The topside control is the Serial Standard 7 Button (Balboa 53189).

The topside control measures 7-3/8" X 3-1/4". If you have a larger hole to cover, the kit includes an adapter plate that measures 8-1/2" X 3-1/2". (2 sided sticky tape is on the back of the adapter plate.)

This spa control was commonly used on Hydro Spas, Platinum Hot Tubs and replaces Costco's part number; Balboa 55098.
